Finding your Creativity
I usually love to take realistic photos that find the beauty in every day life. However, using the creativity that is inherent in all of us can take your photos to a new level. Although I don’t do it enough, I love to tap into my artistic side and make creative photo composites. I made the following image in Photoshop. The mountain image is from a recent excursion to the Tetons. The whipped cream on top is from the same trip, only down in Jackson, Wyoming at an amazing restaurant called The Lift.
I use selections and masking to make composites. My advice: change your brush size and hardness as often as needed so the images look flawless together. Find more examples of creative composite photos here. Enjoy!
