How to Take Amazing Fashion Photography for Women

As I have previously discussed, fashion is one of my loves. I adore how a well-designed material plus a person can become an art form. Marc Jacobs said,  “Clothes mean nothing until someone lives in them.” And adding beautiful fashion photography can take all of that to a new level.

These fashion photos were taken in a run-down old girls reformatory so we could find some awesome textured backgrounds. I used a regular kit lens for my Nikon D3300. The top image used natural lighting. The second image shows loop lighting using a speed light and a flash bender. The last image was taken with an Einstein strobe and a beauty dish. All edits were done in Photoshop and include skin retouching, background retouching, and color corrections.
