The Details of Still Life
Macro photography is a great way to find a new angle on everyday items. You can take any ordinary object, inspect the details, and create a unique image using macro photography tools.
I created these images using macro photography tubes (because I don’t have a macro lens, which can cost up to $10,000). The macro tubes work well, you just have to make sure you have a ton of light while shooting because the macro tubes cut your light in half, if not more.
When shooting macro photography, getting a good focus is more difficult because you have to use manual focus and move your body as you try to get your subject in focus. Start with still life macro photography if you are new to it because it takes a lot of patience and practice.
